Educational Sites

Some sites that may be helpful and encourage skills practice are as follows:

Vocabulary
Vocabulary.com- This is a wonderful site for both students and adults. It gives students the opportunity to practice words from specific topics, subjects and/or lessons. I am also able to assign random lessons with words that students of this age should know or lear.

(This is the one to go to for vocabulary words and practice) Several students said they needed a password or code to get in. You don't if you follow these steps: Once on the site, click on vocabulary at the top- to 2005- level A- to student- go to. That takes you to the words, games and puzzles. www.vocabularyworkshop.com

All of the above sites are set up to give students practice on concepts and skills covered in class just the way they will see them on the EOG tests.
